Ample Sound • Latency of AS modules in Camelot Pro

I've been connecting my AKAI EWI to a computer (MAC) running AmpleSound's Acoustic Bass instrument. The latency seems to be rather big (maybe around 100ms or so ?) I'm not getting this much latency with other virtual instruments. Is there a way to have that latency decreased within the instrument ? The latency on Camelot is set to 2.9ms.
