It drives me really mad:
I want to use Ableton with internal synths and external gear. Since I the external gear directly in mixer is much faster than internal audio I need to delay it, meaning playing it later. But it seems that it's nowhere possible:
-External instrument device: only positive values are possible -> only negative delay of the device possible --> external instrument earlier
-Track delay where external instrument is:
--negative values -> adjust negative delay as it should --> external insturment earlier
--positive values -> just no effect
-Track delay where internal instrument is:
--positive values -> adjust positive delay as it should --> external insturment earlier
--negative values -> just no effect
-Settings -> Driver error compensation
--positive values -> adjust positive delay as it should --> external insturment earlier
--negative values -> just no effect
What is this kind of crap, that it's nowhere possible to adjust in the other direction? Testet it with Live 12.0.15 and 12.1b6 (Windows 11)
Is it a bug or feature? I find nowhere any information, that this shouldn't work or anyone else has these problems. Can someone confirm this behaviour? Should I contact support?
