It reminds me very much of Vital, with all its wavetable capabilities mixed with something like pigments for samples and granular but with much better effect sections. In fact, the FX contained with current are some of the best I've ever heard in any synth, absolute highest quality. Each of them are actually there separate and dedicated fx plugins. The synth capabilities of current are top notch modern but tied with it's impressive FX, Current is one of the best synths out there in my opinion.
