I got MGA via the CreativeFX bundle and although I own a few other amp sims I'm quite I'm intrigued by the multiparameters and the NAM loader. All the endless possibilities overwhelm me though...
I'm thinking about making a default preset with a device chain similar to the lower gain NeuralDSP plugins like Toneking, Morgan. I then want to control the multiparameters with my Ableton Push. So something like this:
compressor, overdrive, chorus -> then NAML -> EQ7 -> delay -> reverb. I think I'll keep the amp and cab in mono.
Any tips for a good starting point among all the available devices? Would be highly appreciated. I'll try to find a nice edge of breakup NAM file.
The bundle gives me TurboDelay and TurboReverb so I'd probably use these "studio" devices, but still there are so many presets inside these alone... I guess TurboComp and TurboEQ don't add a lot of value for keeping this simple? Also would automatic gain correction be useful?
